Surrey Storytellers Guild - an organisation established to promote and develop storytelling in the county of Surrey in England. It is a local group affiliated to the Society for Storytelling.

Society for Storytelling - this is an organisation that:

• provides information on oral storytelling, stories, storytellers and storytelling events.

• is a network for everyone interested in the exchange of knowledge regarding the art of oral storytelling.

• increases public awareness of the art, practice and value of oral storytelling and stories, whether locally, regionally of internationally, formally or informally.

• advises on the nature and scope of oral storytelling.

• develops contacts and liaises with organisations and individuals whose aims are complementary to ours, both nationally and internationally.

• promotes National Storytelling Week.
